Inscribed statue
Small basalt statue was purchased by Otto Puchstein in 1893 in Maraş and today it is in Vorderasiatsches Museum in Berlin. It shows person with a long tunic, although the head section is broken. In its present form the statue is about 20 cm in height and 15 cm in wodth. The four-line Hieroglyphic Luwian inscription (MARAŞ 30 is written boustrophedon and is about offerings to the Storm God Tarhunza.
