Two basalt blocks that form a single text were found in situ on the flanks of the doorway of the cella in the Storm-god Temple. The blocks are about 70 cm and 50 cm high, and both are about 90 cm wide and 20 cm thick. It is a building inscription (KARKAMIŠ A2+3) by the Country-Lord Katuwa, who dedicates the building to the Storm-god (Tarhunza) of Karkamış. Dates to the late 10th to early 9th century BCE and on display in the Anatolian Civilizations Museum in Ankara.
