Inscription of Katuwa (KARKAMIŠ A13d)

The basalt orthostat has a relief of the Country-Lord (REGIO.DOMINUS) Katuwa and his 9-line inscription about dedications to deities. It was found not in situ around the King's Gate area. The left side of the inscription is missing. The current piece is about 105 cm in height, 70 cm in width, and 60 cm in thickness. It is dated to the late 10th to early 9th century BCE and currently in the Anatolian Civilizations Museum in Ankara.
