A couple of sphixes found in different times must originate from the same structure due to their similarities. Although the one in Adana museum (first row) has endured more errosion, it is clear that it is in the same model as the one in Kahramanmaraş Museum (second row). The flat section on their back may suggest that in their original position they used to support a column or some other building unit. Stylistically they may date to 8th century BCE. They are on display in Adana and Kahramanmaraş Museums.
