Relief of Goddess Kubaba
Basalt relief fragment dating from about 850-750 BCE. Anatolian Civilizations Museum, Ankara. The goddess Hepat of the Hittite imperial times, is transformed into Kubaba in Late Hittite kingdoms of the south eastern Anatolia. She is holding a pomegrenade in her right hand, and an ear of wheat in her left. Upper part of the relief has been reconstructed based on similar reliefs.
