Relief of Goddess Kubaba
Basalt relief fragment dating from about 850-750 BCE. Anatolian Civilizations Museum, Ankara. The goddess Hepat of the Hittite imperial times, is transformed into Kubaba in Neo-Hittite kingdoms of the south eastern Anatolia. She is holding a pomegrenate in her right hand, and an ear of wheat in her left.
