Goddess Kubaba

Basalt relief is about 95 cm in height. Goddess Hepat takes the name of Kubaba in Neo-Hittite times. Goddess is sitting on a chair that is situated over a lion. She is holding a pomegranate, symbol of fertility, and a mirror. The relief was originally located on the left hand side of the entryway of the King's Gate. Anatolian Civilizations Museum, Ankara.
