Çolaklı Lion

The Late Hittite-style basalt lion was found in the 1970s in the village of Çolaklı, which is about 10 km from the city of Hasanbeyli in the province of Osmaniye. It has a height of 1.05 meters and a base length of 80 cm. A date around the 9th century BCE has been suggested. Currently on display in the Adana Museum.
